OUR MISSION

The Click’s mission is to contribute to the consistent creation, performance, and growth of contemporary dance in both professional and educational spaces across Massachusetts. We challenge, uplift, and connect communities by offering a plethora of opportunities for people to engage with contemporary dance practices as both students and spectators. Through our educational initiatives and performance projects, we foster collective creative spaces rooted in equality, exploration and social relevance. Whenever possible, we utilize physically accessible spaces and apply sliding scale pricing to our offerings to further this mission.

DONATE
The Click is proud to be fiscally sponsored by Human Movement Project, a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations made through Human Movement Project are tax deductible.
The Click creates and performs primarily on land presently known as Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston, Massachusetts. We acknowledge that these lands are the original home of the Pawtucket, Massachusett, and Nipmuc tribal nations. This land acknowledgement is a formal statement to honor, respect, recognize, and pay homage to these original stewards of these lands and their enduring relationship with the territories on which we dance today. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide, violent removal, and forceful relocation as we honor and respect the many diverse Indiginous Peoples who remain connected to this and all land in our country. We urge our audiences to take the time to educate themselves on the communities that are indigenous to the land they live and work on. We encourage all our partners to continuously learn how they may contribute to protecting and supporting indigenous peoples and practices.
