David Orr of Boston Moving Arts Productions

"Without an environment there can be no life and without life there can be no change. Embraced by the ever-changing environment, each of me is a transient moment to change and be changed by my environment." It is this belief that guides David Orr's work in photography, videography, and dance production and advocacy. Like life, dance is an ever ephemeral exchange of self and environment. David's lens captures those personal, exquisite moments where life and environment manifest in perfect human creativity.
Nicole Marie Photography

Nicole is a photographer, dancer, and artist based in Cambridge, MA. She picked up her first camera her senior year of high school and hasn’t stopped shooting since. Her first most common subjects were mainly flowers, leaves, and her now-husband Kyle. When she is not photographing, she can be found dancing -- on the musical theater scene, as a guest artist, or most recently with City Ballet of Boston.

our friends in tech:

James Peerless

James Peerless is an entrepreneur and software engineer in the greater Boston area. Since graduating from Boston University with a Masters Degree in Computer Science, he has spent his time developing a wide-array of software for local startups. With Abine, Inc., he created programs that helped millions of individuals protect their privacy while using the internet. In 2015, James co-founded Swell Rewards, which has helped tens of thousands of small businesses engage with and retain their customers. After overseeing the sale and transition of Swell, he has now turned his attention to more wide scale societal efforts. He believes everyone on Earth deserves access to incorruptible money and is on a mission to accelerate the adoption of Bitcoin. When he’s not on his laptop, you’ll likely find him dancing to Lady Gaga with his toddlers, or cruising around town in his sweet new minivan.

our friends in costuming:

Jon Wells

Jon Wells is a circus artist, entrepreneur, seamster, and jack-of-all-trades. He is the co-founder of Revolution Trapeze, a flying trapeze school dedicated to maximizing the potential of every student, from the first time flyer to the aspiring professional. He is also the resident handyman, theater director, and costume maker for développé Studios in Sudbury. As if that weren't enough, he lays floors (among other things) for Wooden Kiwi, Boston's favorite dance flooring company.

The Click creates and performs primarily on land presently known as Wilmington, Sudbury, Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston, Massachusetts. We acknowledge that these lands are the original home of the Pawtucket, Massachusett, and Nipmuc tribal nations. This land acknowledgement is a formal statement to honor, respect, recognize, and pay homage to these original stewards of these lands and their enduring relationship with the territories on which we dance today. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide, violent removal, and forceful relocation as we honor and respect the many diverse Indiginous Peoples who remain connected to this and all land in our country. We urge our audiences to take the time to educate themselves on the communities that are indigenous to the land they live and work on. We encourage all our partners to continuously learn how they may contribute to protecting and supporting indigenous peoples and practices.
